Cash4Planes ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use cash4planes.com and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Lead form information: your name, phone number, email (if provided), tail number, aircraft make/model, condition, and any notes you choose to share.
- Page-visit context: referring URL, the page you landed on, UTM parameters from any ad campaign that brought you here, and a basic browser/device identifier (user-agent string).
- Cookies: we may use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics or similar) and for advertising-platform conversion tracking (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads). You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting the lead form.
How we use it
- To make you a cash offer and complete a purchase if you accept.
- To follow up by phone, text, or email about the airplane you contacted us about.
- To measure which ad campaigns produce serious sellers, so we keep showing useful ads.
- To prevent fraud and abuse of our forms.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about the airplane you contacted us about. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of selling us anything.
No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are not shared with anyone except the service providers who deliver the messages on our behalf, and they may not use them for their own purposes.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your contact information.
- We don't share your information with brokers, lead-generation companies, or third-party "we buy planes" competitors.
- We don't run unsolicited marketing sequences. One follow-up if we don't reach you, and that's it unless you ask us to stay in touch.
Who we share data with (operationally)
- Google Workspace: your lead record, related documents, and our email live in Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Gmail). Google processes that data on our behalf under their standard data-processing terms.
- Our own systems: the working copy of the lead database is kept on hardware we control, not on a third-party platform.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: used only to push a "new lead" alert to our own phones. It carries no information about you beyond the fact that a lead arrived.
- Cloudflare: serves this website and sees the ordinary request data any web host sees.
- Our phone and messaging provider: carries calls and texts to and from our published number.
- Aircraft title companies: if you accept our offer, we share the information necessary for escrow with a licensed title company (e.g., Aircraft Title Services).
- Service providers we use to operate the business: email and phone providers, accounting, etc. All under contract not to use your data for their own marketing.
- Legal compliance: if required by court order or law enforcement.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the information we have about you, ask us to delete it, or correct inaccuracies, by emailing thomas@cash4planes.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We keep lead information indefinitely unless you ask us to delete it. Closed-transaction documents are retained for tax and legal compliance (typically 7 years).
Security
Lead data is stored in systems that require an authenticated company account to reach, and the working database sits on hardware we control. Everything moves over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
